ADN2871 3.3 V, 50 Mbps to 4.25 Gbps, Single-Loop, Laser Diode Driver
The ADN2871 laser diode driver is designed for advanced SFP and SFF modules, using SFF-8472 digital diagnostics. The ADN2871 supports operation from 50 Mbps to 4.25 Gbps. Average power and extinction ratio can be set with a voltage provided by a microcontroller DAC or by a trimmable resistor or digital potentiometer. The average power control loop is implemented using feedback from a monitor photodiode. The part provides bias and modulation current monitoring as well as fail alarms and automatic laser shutdown (ALS).

ADN2870 3.3 V, Dual Loop, 50 Mbps to 3.3 Gbps Laser Diode Driver
The ADN2870 uses a dual loop control algorithm to control both average power and extinction ratio of the laser diode (LD), eliminating the need for expensive temperature calibration or look-up tables for laser control. The average power and extinction ratio can be voltage set controlled by a microcontroller's voltage DACs or can be resistor set controlled.

ADN2841 Multi-Rate, 2.7 Gbps, Dual-loop, Control Laser Diode Driver IC
The ADN2841 is an anyrate, up to 2.7 Gbps, laser diode driver with dual-loop control of average power and extinction ratio. This feedback loop design enables consistent optical performance over temperature, as well as lifetime, diode processing variations, and diode supplier.

ADN2848 3.3 V Dual-Loop 50 Mbps to 1.25 Gbps Laser Diode Driver
The ADN2848 uses a unique control algorithm to control both the average power and the extinction ratio of the laser diode (LD) after initial factory setup. External component count and PCB area are low because both power and extinction ratio control are fully integrated. Programmable alarms are provided for laser fail (end of life) and laser degrade (impending fail).

ADN2525 10.7 Gbps Active Back-Termination, Differential Laser Diode Driver
The ADN2525 laser diode driver is designed for direct modula-tion of packaged laser diodes having a differential resistance ranging from 5 Ωto 50 Ω. The active back-termination technique provides excellent matching with the output transmission lines while reducing the power dissipation in the output stage.
