Quasi-resonant Switched-Mode Power Supply controller
The L6565 is a current-mode primary controller IC, specifically designed to build offline Quasi-resonant ZVS (Zero Voltage Switching at switch turn-on) fly- back converters. Quasi-resonant operation is achieved by means of a transformer demagnetization sensing input that triggers MOSFET's turn-on.

L6599 High-voltage resonant controller
The L6599 is a double-ended controller specific for the resonant half-bridge topology. It provides 50% complementary duty cycle: the high-side switch and the low-side switch are driven ON 180° out-of-phase for exactly the same time. Output voltage regulation is obtained by modulating the operating frequency. A fixed deadtime inserted between the turn-OFF of one switch and the turn-ON of the other one guarantees soft-switching and enables high-frequency operation.

EVAL6565N, 30W AC-DC adapter with the L6565 quasi-resonant PWM controller
This note describes the evaluation board of the Quasi-resonant (QR) PWM controller L6565 and presents the results of its bench evaluation. The board implements a 30W, single-output (15V/2A), wide-range mains input, QR converter that can be used as a reference design for an AC/DC adapter, where good performance is to be achieved at low cost.

Resonant-Mode Power Supply Controllers
The UC1861-1868 family of ICs is optimized for the control of Zero Current Switched (ZCS) and Zero Voltage Switched (ZVS) quasi-resonant converters. Differences between members of this device family result from the various combinations of UVLO thresholds and output options. Additionally, the one-shot pulse steering logic is configured to program either on-time for ZCS systems (UC1865-1868), or off-time for ZVS applications (UC1861-1864).

25W quasi-resonant flyback converter for set-top box application using the L6565
This document describes a reference design of a 25W Switch Mode Power Supply (SMPS) dedicated to Set-Top Box application. The board accepts full range input voltage (90 to 265Vrms) and delivers 5 outputs. It is based on the new controller L6565, working in variable frequency mode.
